Today was a butterfly day, the world was mine and I could fly anywhere. I was as free as Butterfly. I spoke with an ex neighbor of mine, we had to move last November, we had some really great neighbors. R. shall be his name, he is a writer and his book is finally out, I bought it today. As I was searching his website I ran across an article of his about another one of our neighbors. This neighbor was Shermy in the Peanuts comic strip. I had no idea, Shermy never mentioned that or the fact that he grew up with Charles Schultz. It brought back many memories of my own childhood. It brought a smile to my face.
Today is also the day my friend Carol gets out of the hospital. Sixteen days ago she had a tumor removed from her pancres, actually they had to remove the head of the pancreas, the gallbladder and part of her stomache. I am relieved they got it all and that her prognosis is very good. She was very lucky indeed!!
